Broaching
Broaching is a machining process that uses specialized tools (called broaches) to remove material. Broaches are multi-tooth cutting tools with progressively larger sizes, enabling them to remove entire sections of a workpiece in a single pass. This process is particularly suitable for producing high-precision internal keyways, splines, and other complex features.

Broaching Features

Efficiency: Multi-step internal machining completes in one pass; broaching speed ranges 20-120 sfpm, with a full cycle (loading + cutting + unloading) taking just 5-30 seconds—cutting process time by 60%+.
Adaptability: Works with steel (HRC20-45), cast iron, aluminum alloys, titanium, stainless steel, and even some plastics.
Long Tool Life: Made of HSS (hardness 58-60 HRC) or premium materials via advanced processes; offers high wear resistance, with a service life of 5000+ workpieces.
