Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)

Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), also known as MIG welding or MAG welding, is a welding process that uses a continuously fed wire to generate an arc between the wire and the base metal, melting the wire and forming the weld. Shielding gas is employed to shield the weld pool from atmospheric contamination.

Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), commonly known as MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, is a widely used arc welding process that utilizes a continuous solid wire electrode fed through a welding gun to form an electric arc between the electrode and the workpiece.

The process relies on a shielding gas to protect the weld pool and electrode from atmospheric contamination (such as oxygen and nitrogen), ensuring high-quality, defect-free welds.

GMAW is celebrated for its versatility, high welding speed, and ease of automation, making it an ideal choice for welding aluminum, steel, and fabricating new energy charging pile guardrails.

Quality Control:

Our welding inspectors possess extensive hands-on experience in weld quality assessment.
Key welder hold AWS (American Welding Society) certifications, ensuring compliance with international welding quality standards and rigorous inspection protocols.
Comprehensive Testing Methods: Regularly inspect welds for defects such as porosity, cracks, and incomplete penetration using visual inspection, ultrasonic testing (UT), or radiographic testing (RT) for critical joints.
